For the Note, see Fia Zborowska (note).

Stylish Fia Zborowska is an artist in the most existentially distressing sort of way. Fia's got a real short fuse sitting on a whole lot of anger.

Fia Zborowska is one of the Visionaries in Deathloop, and the chief provisioner and art director of the AEON Program.[1]

Background[]

Fia Zborowska is an artist and the daughter of a shipping magnate.[1] Her background in shipping and love of the artistic led her to become the AEON Program's chief provisioner and chief visual director, respectively. She had full control of the supplies which were transported to the island, meaning that those she was supplying were sometimes forced to beg to receive the supplies that they needed to do their jobs.[2] Despite there being no money or other legal tender on Blackreef, Fia seemed interested in maintaining a form of artificial scarcity and exclusivity of supplies, for example by restricting access to the island's Delivery Booths.[3] Fia's provisioning for the Loop also included supplies of the more illicit variety.[4]

Fia specifically chose to set up her Blackreef studio in a former military bunker, hoping that the bareness of the environment would finally let her sleep and regain her ability to dream.[5] She is a prolific drug user and chose to go into the Loop high on drugs supplied by her "star sister", Allie.[6]

During her time with the AEON Program, Fia has become romantically involved with fellow Visionary, Charlie Montague, despite security instructions that Visionaries should avoid spending time with and fraternizing with other Visionaries.[7][8] The two of them have a secret rendezvous in the old Pumping Station in Fristad Rock every Afternoon.

Personality[]

Fia is self-centered and sees most things through the lens of how it can be exploited for her art. She kept a stable of heavily dosed socialites at her manor to use as props for her famous parties. When she tried to bring them with her to Blackreef, she transported them in a shipping container and they were suffocated in transit.[9]

She can be very aggressive, something which is reflected in the nature of her Havoc Slab and will even be violent towards Charlie at times. However, while in private she sometimes reveals a greater vulnerability.[10][11]

Appearance[]

Fia wears a short sleeveless jacket, with a fashionable sweater underneath. When her Havoc Slab is activated, her eyes begin to glow red, and her body catches on fire.

Trivia[]

  • Fia's visual design is largely based on Suzanne Charney's character from the 1969 film Sweet Charity.[12] Specifically, Lead Character Artist Jean-Baptiste Ferder cites the "Rich Man's Frug as the primary video reference for Fia.
  • The remote trigger to set off the self-destruct sequence for her reactor is attached to Fia's arm while she is in her base at noon, this explains how she can quickly activate the sequence when alerted.
  • Violent Delights can be achieved by killing either Charlie or Fia with a single bullet, and having them both die through a Nexus connection.
