Havoc is an ability in Deathloop that is available when the Havoc Slab is equipped. The Havoc Slab is dropped by Fia Zborowska or may be randomly dropped by Julianna Blake.
Gameplay[]
The Havoc Slab transforms you into a paragon of physical violence, increasing the damage your attacks deal while simultaneously protecting you from harm. Press L1 to activate the ability and press L1 again to cancel it.
With Havoc active, all of your attacks inflict additional damage.
Havoc also acts as a layer of armor, blocking incoming harm. While the Slab is active, damage reduces your Power rather than your Health.
Upgrades[]
Havoc has four possible upgrades:
Backlash: When Havoc ends, you release a powerful and damaging blast.
Bulwark: Hits don't drain Power, but Havoc drains Power faster. Also, you move slower.
Euphoria: The more damage you take while using Havoc, the more damage you dish out.
Withdrawal: Regain power by damaging your foes while using Havoc. Invigorating!
Tactical information[]
- Havoc's ability to supplement Power as Health synergises well with abilities that increase your Power or give you Power outside of Regen (eg. the Withdrawal Upgrade).
- Bulwark makes you invincible for the duration, though power drains very quickly. Your movement speed is so slow you won't even be able to sprint without the aid of speed-increasing trinkets.
- Backlash activates immediately upon Havoc ending, meaning that it can happen when your power is empty, potentially giving you an extra burst of damage while performing other actions.
- The Plasma Power trinket can synergise well with Havoc, extending its duration - but due to its fast drain rate it can leave you on low health very quickly.
